Fantasy Football

This morning felt like Christmas morning. I woke up and ran to the computer to see who it picked for my fantasy football team. I'm pretty happy with my team (though I like Lesley's even more). My weakness will be at running back, so anyone who wants to shop around a good RB, give me a ring.

I also have an added investment in my favorite teams with two Colts and two Bears. That will make those games either really good or really bad.

The best draft obviously goes to Cliff who picked up a starting running back on IR (Domanick Davis) and a WR who has just been cut (Charles Rogers).

Thursday it all begins . . .
. . . watch out 'I heart Ranger Randy'!

I have the absolute worst 1-2 punch at quarterback imaginable. Thank God for the waiver wire; I've already had to make five exchanges, including one for Koren Robinson, whom ESPN.com somehow thinks still plays for Minnesota.

Anyways, as predicted, my starting RB and WR situation is kickass, so hopefully that'll carry me through to the final against J. Green.

BTW Cliff, I've already offered you the trade. If you're wondering whether or not to accept, consider this: it'll help me beat your wife in week 1. THAT should seal the deal.

Trent,
if you even think that Favre will give you more points then he will take away -- I admire your courage.

No, this is what I'm saying: I was left with Favre and Brooks . . . apparently I managed to skip every other QB in the draft. Those two should combine for about 60 interceptions this year.

I just want to comment on the fascist fact that the individual to whom I would lodge a trade protest is one of the ones involved in the trade! Talk about conflict of interest . . . then again, you analytic metaphysicians never had a need for ethics anyway.

I must go with destiny, and it is destiny for my team to be called "Special Brown"

Trent, let me get this right. First I am a slave to fairness in not having a live draft (which came back to bite me since I didn't get a RB until the 5th round), and now I am some governing facist?

First, I try to stay clear of metaphysics. Second, I will listen to your protests. Third, however much I may listen, I am only going to veto trades that are *obviously* corrupt.

Ben,
If you name your team the Special Browns it is going to sound like Cleveland's differently gifted football team. But hey, it's hard to get in the way of destiny

Jon,

Your assuming the actual "Browns" are not differently gifted. Painting me as the mentally challenged team has its benefits but remember this. If I become the champion of the league you all have lost to a team of functioning retards.

Ok, Wille Parker gave me a great game 29 carries 115 yards. However, it does not make me happy that my TE only had ten yards. That drop and call back in the 4th was a killer. Oh yeah, Marty Booker almost having a concussion in the first half also makes one pause. Since he is a former Bear and the girlfriend likes him, I may give him another week.

Jon-

Leaving 34 points on the bench has to sting a little bit.....

If you think my bench points are impressive, then just wait till you see what my starters put out.

Seriously though, since when can Batch complete passes?
